The internship provided an opportunity to learn the science of substance prevention. Learned a lot from these guys through research, field work and collaboration. An added bonus, my Malayalam speaking skills improved

11th Asian Youth Forum on drug use prevention, with 150 participants from Bhutan, Indonesia, Maldives, Malaysia, Nepal, Philippines, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Sweden, UK, USA, & Vietnam.

Group leaders staying late to compile issues and challenges faced by youth. The topics covered was drafted into a "Youth Declaration" which will be sent to various Governments and Institutions around Asia to demand change and include youth in policy making
